Summary

This document shows you how to remove the ThermoVisionT2 software for version 1.12 and earlier.

Before you Begin

1. This is only for ThermoVisionT2 early release users v1.12 and earlier, and does not apply to the ThermoVisionT2 software v1.16 or later.
   1. If you have v1.16 or later, follow the steps in our installation article HERE.
2. Settings will not be transferred during the update, there are two major software configurations to know prior to updating;
   1. Save location (if unsure, save an exam and look at the file path at the top)
      
   2. Minimum body temperature (found in Advanced Settings)

How to Remove ThermoVisionT2 software v1.08 or earlier

1. Remove the old version of the software

• Right-Click on the ThermoVisionT2 vdxx.xx.xxxx Icon then choose Delete

2. Remove the Shortcuts, Pins, or Quick Access

• These are icons that allow easy access of the program but are not created by the software. If any were created, they will need to be manually updated when the software changes.
  • For Shortcuts  - Right-Click on the Shortcut then choose Delete

  • For Taskbar Pins  - Right-Click on the Taskbar Icon then choose Unpin from Taskbar
